History
Production association «Trek» was founded in October 1995 to produce components for passenger cars. The founder and the first general director was Andrey Paduchin.
History of the enterprise began with two machines at the leased territory, office room at the basement and the founders’ great desire to create an enterprise, the innovations embodiment — technological, engineering and management ones. The years of «Trek» development are realization of adventurous plans, continuous development and striving for leadership.
- 1996
- The first-off production batch of the lower ball joint for automobiles VAZ-2101 was produced. The primordial focusing on the quality of the products permitted to win consumers’ attention fast, increase the make quantity and proceed to developing the upper ball joint for VAZ-2101.
- 1997
- The own production plant is purchased.
- 1997-1998
- The ball joints production for passenger cars VAZ-2108 and Moskvich-2141 is developed.
- 1999
- Ball-joints of in-house design, «Champion» series, for automobiles VAZ–2101 and VAZ–2108 are produced.
- Switch to Electronic Document Management. The dealer and distributor network is created.
- The quality management system is certificated in correspondence with the international standard ISO 9001.
- 2000
- The personnel teaching system is created.
- The first issue of the corporate newspaper Vestnik TREKa is published.
- Switch to the project management.
- 2001
- The first supplies of ball joints to the assembly line of the Fuel-efficient car plant.
- Since this year products of the enterprise are annual Laureateand Diploma winner of the contests Program «100 best goods of Russia» and «20 best goods of Chelyabinsk region» in different nominations.
- Laureate of the Government Prize, the Russian Federation, in the field of quality.
- 2002
- The branch in the town of Borovsk, Kaluga region, and the plant «Metallist», the town of Verkhniy Ufaley, Chelyabinsk region are purchased.
- The National Association of Automotive Component Manufacturers (NAPAC) and Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) are entered into.
- The technical re-equipment program of the enterprise starts.
- Tie rod ends VAZ –2101-2107, VAZ-2108, VAZ-2121 and tie rod ends for the automobiles with small carrying capacity Sobol and Gazel are added to the product range. The upper and lower ball joints «Style» for VAZ-2101 are produced.
- The annual sports and athletics meeting by 11 kinds of sports are commenced.
- 2003
- Ball joints for VAZ-2123 and tie rod ends for VAZ-2101-2107, VAZ–2108 of «Style» series with polymeric cover are produced. Ball joints preproduction for Volga – GAZ-3110 is completed; the ball joints are delivered to the assembly line of the Gorky automobile plant.
- Winner of the regional contest of the leader enterprises’ social achievements «Those who change the world».
- 2004-2005
- Suspension and steering parts for the foreign passenger cars are produced. Stabilizer links for foreign cars and CV-joints covers of thermoplastic polyurethane for front-wheel-drive cars VAZ are developed.
- The first issue of the magazine for motor-car enthusiasts Karmanny Automaster is published.
- Participation in the international exhibition «Automechanika» in Germany.
- 2006
- The own commodity distribution network is developing.
- Winner of the regional contest of the leader enterprises’ social achievements «Those who change the world». Laureate of the Governor Quality Prize, Chelyabinsk region, in the field of industry.
- The museum of the production association «Trek» is opened.
- 2007
- CV-joints for front-wheel-drive cars VAZ are delivered to the Volga automobile plant.
- 2008
- Stabilizer links for the automobile Kia Spectra are delivered to the assembly line of «Izh-Auto».
- JSC «PA «Trek», its production branches and trade representations are consolidated in the group of companies «Trek».
- Prize «Quality leader».
